First day of online class

Today was an interesting day because I never did online classes before and it was kinda tricky but I managed and pulled through. So today in our class we had to watch videos and quizzes. Do that is what we did today.

Same old week

This week was almost the same as last week but this week our teachers showed us a way for the students to do our work. I need something to do it’s been boring.

Boring week

This week was more of a chill week. I found out that we aren’t going back to school in April but we still are going to have to do some work so we can earn our grades but we don’t start until after spring break. So that is what I did this week.

Virus break

Well this week as been kinda crazy. We had went to school to get our packets because of the virus. This week was kinda hard this week because of all the work but I am going to get though it. So that is what I did this week.

Today in class we watched short films. Some were crazy good and I liked them.

Today in class we took the act which was kinda hard than what I expected.so questions knew and some I didn’t. So that is what we did today.

Things happening in the world

Today in class we learned about different things in the world. We also had to find the information our selves while we were in groups of four. So that is what we did today.

Annotated bibliographies

Today in we were taught how to write an annotated bibliography. Which was kinda easy. But I liked how he explained how it’s supposed to go. So that is what we did today in class.

Today in class

Today in class I had an awesome day. We had learned how to do claim, evidence, and reasoning again so we can know how to do it when the act is coming up. I believe this helped me a lot. We had wrote our own claims and we had to find evidence to go with it. So that is what we did today.

Starting from the beginning

Today in class we went back to prompts with sources and we had to see which source goes with the prompt. It was kinda hard but I believe I understand what we did. So that is what we did today.

Today’s class

Today in class we did our test for the week and the test was kinda hard a little. I really need to start working on it.

Finishing presentations

Today we finished the presentations today but we had a short class today so we couldn’t do nothing. Tomorrow we are going to be talking a test and I believe I can do good on it.

Presentations

Today in class we almost finished our presentations today but we still have a few tomorrow to do. This project really helped us we learn about different cultures and how they live. My favorite was Korean culture. So that is what we did today.

Essays

Today in class we wrote an essay on nationality and individuality. The prompt was hard I had to think about a lot of thing before I started writing. I believe I did good on the prompt. So that is all we did today.

Claim and evidence

Today in class we had went back to claim and evidence because our teacher wanted to see if we were getting better or are we still confused on the subject. We did good but we did have to problem with evidence. We also read our paragraph we wrote yesterday and mine was good but I can be better. So that is what we did today.

Custom

Today in class we had to get in group according to our country. Then we had to use our phone to look up custom that our country do on the daily basis. For example my country is Nigeria and one of the customs they do is that when a men shake each other’s hand they have to shake with the right and put the left had on there shoulder. I thought that was weird. We also had to write a paragraph to about should we adapt to a countries custom once we go there. So that is what we did today.

Culture

Today was a short day because of our Act period. So today in class we talked about different culture and we looked at a videos of how people see us in different cultures. But must if the ways they think of us was wrong and some were right. We also did question on whether is better for you to be born in a culture or should you pick a culture. So that is what we did today.

Project

Today we interesting day because we had did a retake on a test because everyone had failed it and I believe I did good. Our teacher had also gave us a project so we can get to know different cultures. So it a 10 slide PowerPoint and we had to pick a culture I got Nigeria I believe it easy I started today. So that sh what we did today in class.

Humorist

Today class was a funny day. Today we had a prompt which was a very funny thing to do. So first our teacher showed us a video of different comedians which was very funny by the way one was Chris rock who was very funny. So we also read the prompt and come up with claims for that prompt. So that is what we did today.

What does the N-word mean to you

Today class was  an interesting experience we learned about what the word N-word really mean. We watch videos on people using the word and how they used it. Like Chris rock he used the word to when a lower class people. Also we watched a another video on people voting on which word is worse between white peoples  bad words or black people is bad words and people voted that black people bad words are worse. So that is what we did today.

Not in class

I wasn’t in class because of our new act class this happened yesterday.

Reasons and Reasoning

Today class was an interesting day. So a few people went to the A and B honor roll project for the ones who had it. Som the people who was in class learned what was the difference between reasons and reasoning. I didn’t know what the difference was so I am happy that he help us with it. So that is what we did today in class.

My purpose

I believe my purpose to change the world. What mean about that is that I should make the world a better place for everyone. So that is what I think my purpose is.

Sense of self and ownership

Today class was very interesting because we had an discussion on what it mean to own something and have sense of self. I was kinda confused at the beginning but then my teacher broke it down for us. We also watched a video on sense of self I was confused but then I got it. So that is what we did today.

Good day

Today was an exciting day because we had finished our question that we had on yesterday. We got back in our group and he gave us 20 minutes to finish. My group had finished, and I believe that we got them all write. We also did a little bit of one of the 50 questions in that book. So that is what we did today.

Practicing for the Act

Today class was very interesting because we had looked at an example of a passage that would help us know what we are looking for on the Act. Thus helped me understand what to look for when I take the test. We also went over the question but we didn’t get finish today so we have to finish tomorrow. So that is what we did today.

National honor society

 I Had to go to nationals honor society interview didn’t make it in time. But I believe I did good at it.

Didn’t come to class

Did didn’t go to the class because of an early dismissal.

Observed and experience

Today was a good day in class. We learn how to made claims for observation which was kinda because you had to explain what you observed and how it fit the claims. I did good on it. We also had to make claims that fit experience which was hard to because you had to tell what happened and how it fit the claim. These lesson about claim is really helping with them and I thank Mr. Rease for that. So that is what we did today.

Claims part 2

Today was a good day in class we had a lot of fun learning how look for claims and evidence in readings. We watch a lot of videos like we watched one of tyler perry personal video about his life. It was an amazing video he told us about his life. We also went back to wild and talk about what claims she had said in the book. So that is what we did today in class.

Faith

Today in class we talked about when a person thinks there certain and when they have doubt. We looked at a essay question to see what’s the relationship between certain and doubt. I believe that if you have faith things will go your but if you have doubt thing will not go your way. So this is what we did today.

Four corners

Today class was a exciting day. We also played a little game of four corners to see how we deal with arguments. We also had went to the cafeteria so the principal can talk at the Act he said a lot important stuff about the Act and I believe it helped a lot of people out. So that is what we did today in class.

False analogy

Today in class our teacher opened our eyes to the world of arguing. We had a book called Thank You for Arguing. This book really helped me see different way I can argue and win the argument. I also know how to see if some of using false analogy in the arguments. I liked the class a lot today we learned how to see the better deal in things so that is what we did today.

Presentations in class

Today class was an interesting experience. Our teacher Mr.Rease has talked to us about how we can improve on our blogs. He showed us the write way to right our blog and wrong way for us to our blogs. He really help me with it I didn’t know how to write a good one but now I can write a good one. We also did skits in our class it was called fallacy. We had a lot of fun with the presentations today in class. This really helped me with his words and I thank him for help me. So this is what we did today in class.

Second day

Today in class we learn how to tell if its a not so good argument and we had words with different meanings so we can tell which one go with the argument it name of this was called fallacy. This helped me better with argumentative essays for sure. So that is all we did today in class and I had a great time.

First Day back

Today, class was like a fresh new start to the year.  We also had watch a speaker on the smart board his name was Arel moodie .We went over all the rules in school and we also learned that being smart isn’t everything. We learned that on a video today in class. This man really changed how I see things. He also told us that effort Is my important.so this what we did today.
